Tzu Chi Volunteers Visit Hospitals to Offer Emotional Support and Companionship
Since July 2025, Tzu Chi volunteers have been making regular visits twice a week to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital to care for and accompany inpatients. In addition to chatting with patients, the volunteers assist with meal ordering and delivery, and accompany them to activities organised by the hospitals. By being attentive listeners, they provide emotional support and positive encouragement, helping patients feel cared for as they face illness.
