This year, the annual Income Eco Run introduced two new categories: a 55-kilometre ultramarathon and a pet-friendly run. The event drew nearly 5,500 participants, who collectively covered a total distance of 67,697 kilometres. For every kilometre run, $1 was pledged by the company, resulting in a record-breaking donation of $70,000. The funds will go to WWF Singapore to support a pilot programme aimed at reducing disposable food and beverage packaging. As the Eco Run’s green partner, Tzu Chi promoted environmental education through interactive games and provided recycling bins to encourage proper waste separation.
