Over 350 senior citizens learn AI, setting a new record in Singapore

As long as they are willing to learn, senior citizens can keep pace with technological advancements. At the 14th anniversary celebration of the Bukit Batok Active Ageing Committee’s(AAC), the Tzu Chi Seniors Engagement & Enabling Node (SEEN) showcased the AI creations of senior citizens, including life stories written using AI and the assembly of remote-controlled cars, demonstrating that older people can keep up with the times.

The Tzu Chi Seniors Engagement & Enabling Node (SEEN) was invited to participate in the Bukit Batok Active Ageing Committee’s 14th anniversary celebration, where it showcased seniors’ creative works produced using artificial intelligence. Over 350 elderly residents living in Bukit Batok came together at the event to learn about generative AI, setting a record in the Singapore Book of Records.
